Rich is a former Royal Marines Commando, a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, he has over 25 years of leading expeditions.
Whether local community focussed events or extreme high altitude reaches. He has lead expeditions on all of the 7 continents, including climbing Mt Everest, Mt Denali and Mt Vinson in Antarctica. Rich led the first Greenland crossing by an amputee, has climbed on the Mont Blanc Massif and crossed the Hardangavidda Plateau. He has dived around the World and rates diving with sharks and giant Manta Rays as one the most liberating experiences.
Rich has a proven record of success, which includes a world record.
He led the arduous Heroes Challenge UK, which saw a team come together, against the odds and set a UK endurance 1st. His passion remains firm, to help wounded, Injured and Sick service personnel and their families 'believe again' and reignite the stoic passion and 'Spirit of Adventure, regardless of illness or injury
